Stainless steel adenotome with finger grips and screw-in adjusting plate. Instrument is composed of several constituent pieces. The grip body moves on the handle and pushes forward to a cavity with two slots in the head at the distal end. Handle is attached to a thin, slotted metal plate that slides in and out of the concave distal end, and is used to cut the adenoids. Engraved lightly "St. P. O. R." on the rear of the handle, and more solidly right below the thumb screw on the base of the instrument.
