One white porcelain "slipper" bed pan. Bed pan is flat in front, and has a general wedge shape. In the center is a large cavity; on the inside of this cavity are written the directions for use in blue lettering: "This slipper should be passed under the patient in front between the legs. If a flannel cap is made for the blade fastened by strings under the handle considerable comfort will be afforded." Bed pan has a handle on the back side and has a small hole in the base.
