Original Description (From Book)	Built in 1844 this Federal Style house was altered by the addition of an Italianate cornice and still further by the addition of a handsome classical porch. It was the residence of Richard Childs.
Original Note (From Book)	100 Block of West Leigh Street - This block is now one sided since the enlargement of the school site on the south side of the street. The construction of Bo Jangles Park has given this block a lift.
