Original Description (From Book)	Built for Charles Ellett in 1853, this is one of the best preserved Greek Revival houses in Jackson Ward. The porch, railings, and steps are in original condition, and even the rear porches are preserved. The house has a raised basement.
Original Note (From Book)	300 Block of East Leigh Street - While this block has had some major demolition, it retains several fine houses.
