MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF VISITORS
OF VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY
July 19, 1989
A special meeting of the Board of Visitors of Virginia Commonwealth
University was held on Wednesday, July 19, 1989, at 5:30 p.m. at the
University Meeting Center.
Present were Messrs. Farinholt (Rector), Beadles, Ferguson, Meador,
Morris, Siegel and Whitworth; Drs. Johnson and Moore; and Mrs. Epps.
Absent were: Messrs. Gregory, Latham, Lipman and Wurtzel; and Dr.
Holland; and Mrs. Abady. Also present were Drs. Ackell, Andrako, Dewey
and Ruch; Messrs. Bruegman, Kudless, Poe and Ross; and Mrs. Price; and
invited guest Dr. Trumble.
Mr. Farinholt called the meeting to order and introduced the new
Board member, Mr. Stuart C. Siegel.
Mr. Farinholt introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Robert R. Trumble,
Dean of the School of Business. A presentation on the School of
Business followed.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
