MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF VISITORS
OF VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY
November 16, 1988
A special meeting of the Board of Visitors of Virginia Com-
monwealth University was held on Wednesday, November 16, 1988, at
6 p.m. in the University Meeting Center.
Present were Messrs. Farinholt (Rector), Ferguson, Gregory,
Lipman, Meador and Whitworth; Mesdames Abady and Epps; and Drs.
Johnson and Moore. Absent were Messrs. Beadles, Latham, Morris
and Wurtzel; Dr. Holland and Mrs. Whittemore. Also present were
Drs. Ackell, Andrako and Ruch; Messrs. Bruegman, Kudless and
Ross; and Mrs. Price.
Mr. Farinholt called the meeting to order and introduced Mr.
John Kudless, Vice President for Advancement and Mr. Tom Poe,
Director of University Relations.
A presentation on the University Relations division fol-
lowed.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
