MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF VISITORS
OF VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY
July 16, 1986
A special meeting of the Board of Visitors of Virginia Common-
wealth University was held on Wednesday, July 16, 1986, at 5:30 p.m. in
the University Meeting Center.
Present were Messrs. Allen, Berry, Farinholt, Gregory and Lipman;
Mesdames Abady and Epps; and Drs. Holland and Moore. Absent were Mess-
rs. Beadles, Latham, Morris, Smith and Wurtzel; and Mesdames Bemiss and
Whittemore. Also present were Drs. Ackell, Connell, Ruch, Sparks and
Wilson; Messrs. Brown, Bruegman, Doswell and Ross; and Mrs. Wood. Dr.
Richard L. Sander, VCU's new Athletic Director, was also present. The
guest speaker was Dr. J. Curtis Hall, Dean of the School of Business.
Dr. Ackell welcomed Mrs. Rozanne Epps to the Board.
Following dinner, Dr. Hall gave a computerized presentation on the
Business School.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
