MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF VISITORS
OF VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY
January 15, 1986
A special meeting of the Board of Visitors of Virginia Common-
wealth University was held on Wednesday, January 15, 1986, at 5:30 p.m.
in the University Meeting Center.
Present were Messrs. Allen, Farinholt, Gregory, Lipman, Ludeman,
Reynolds and Smith; Drs. Holland and Moore; and Mesdames Abady, Bemiss
and Whittemore. Absent were Messrs. Berry, Grey, Morris and Wurtzel.
Also present were Drs. Ackell, Connell, Ruch, Sparks and Wilson; Mess-
rs. Brown, Bruegman and Ross; and Mrs. Price. Also present was Mr.
Tilden Good, student representative to the Board. Dr. Stephen M.
Ayres, Dean of the School of Medicine, was also in attendance.
Following dinner, Dr. Ayres presented his perceptions on the Uni-
versity and School of Medicine.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
