MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF VISITORS
OF VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY
July 17, 1985
A special meeting of the Board of Visitors of Virginia Commonwealth
University was held on Wednesday, July 17, 1985, at 5:30 p.m. in the
University Meeting Center.
Present were Mesdames Abady and Whittemore; Messrs. Allen, Berry,
Farinholt, Gregory, Grey, Lipman, Reynolds, Smith and Wurtzel; and Dr.
Moore. Absent were Mrs. Bemiss, Dr. Holland, and Messrs. Ludeman and
Morris. Also present were Dr. Ackell and Mrs. Price.
Mr. Smith called the meeting to order and welcomed newly appointed
Board members, Mr. Roger Gregory and Mr. Alan Wurtzel.
On motion made and seconded, the Board convened into executive
session to discuss certain personnel matters involving the performance
of public officers and/or appointees of VCU as authorized by Section
2.1-344 a(1) of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.
Following executive session, Mr. Smith reported that no actions had
been taken.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
