MINUTES OF AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF VISITORS OF VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY
Held on October 20, 1970
An Executive Committee Meeting of the Board of Visitors of Virginia
Commonwealth University was held on the 20th day of October, 1970,
at nine o'clock in the forenoon in the Conference Room at 910 West
Franklin Street.
Present were all members of the Committee except Mr. Obenshain
and Mr. Scott.
Present by invitation were Drs. Brandt, Brooke, Langston, Smith,
and Wilson.
The events surrounding the October 12 "Block Party" at Grove Avenue
and Harrison Street were discussed with members of the administration
reporting on various aspects of the events.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30.
