400 West Marshall Street - This Greek Revival house of about 1857 has been altered on several occasions. It was converted to an Itallanate style and has recently had its ornamental cornice stripped. The high basement and window trim testify to its Greek Revival origins . Its wooden porch is pleasing.
402 West Marshall Street - This smaU traditional Greek Revival Itallanate frame house is well- maintained and was the home of E . D. Kelley in 1876. The house was built shortly before the Civil War.
404 West Marshall Street - An Itallanate house huilt shortly before 1876, its wooden porch and fences are well-preserved. It was owned by R. L. Glazebrook in 1876.
406 West Marshall Street - Like its neighbor, this house is a small frame dwelling built in the immediate post-Civil War period.
