Richmond (Va.). Dept. of Planning and Community Development
Original Description (From Book)
A three unit row of Italianate houses, this group has a well-preserved wooden porch and cornice. Numbers 7 and 9 have been altered by the addition of asphalt shingles in place of the original wood sliding. They retain their original wood fences. Number 5 has had new small windows added which destroy the scale of the row.
Original Note (From Book)
Of the streets of Jackson Ward which have been damaged by the construction of the super highway, DuVal Street has been the most damaged. One half of the street was destroyed.
