Original Description (From Book)	This mansarded building is one of the earliest school buildings in the City, built shortly after the Civil War. Originally called the Leigh School, it has been serving Jackson Ward for over a century.
Original Note (From Book)	The 00 Block of East Leigh Street - This formerly residential block has become partially commercial, and several buildings have been demolished. It contains a major nineteenth century church and school.
