Richmond (Va.). Dept. of Planning and Community Development
Original Description (From Book)
This frame raised Italianate house has an elaborate porch dating from the early twentieth century. Other characteristics of the house suggest it was built shortly after the Civil War. The asphalt shingle siding damages its appearance.
Original Note (From Book)
The 500 Block of West Marshall Street - This block contains a number of interesting pre-Civil War houses as well as some Italianate dwellings. The small size of most of these houses contributes to the street's character and charm.
