This is a very fine and well-preserved Greek Revival house in almost unaltered condition. The rather shallow roof is typical of houses of this period on Marshall Street. It was built in 1848.

The Three Hundred Block of Marshall Street contains a large number of pre-Civil War houses, some of which have been altered in unusual ways.
