your kind favor of
the 27th inst[ant] has been revieved and I very
respectfully, ask you pardon for again
intruding myself upon you. My reasons for
doing this is from the fact that my acquain-
tence is so limited among the men of im-
portance in your City, and also among those
from my State (Georgia) to whom I should
apply for assistance, and who may be sojour-
ing there at present has forced me to throw
myself upon the generosity of a Stranger
Anything that you can do for me, whatever
may be the result will be very highly appreci-
ated by me and I will ever be on the alert
to reciprocate such a favor.
Enclosed I send you an application
for the appointment of Hosp[ital] Steward
with a Surgeon's certificate of disability and

College of V[irgini]a Richmond, V[irgini]a Professor your kind favor of the 27th inst[ant] has been revieved and I very respectfully, ask you pardon for again intruding myself upon you.
