The Faculty of the Medical College of Va
Gentlemen
Your Demonstrator respectfully asks that he may
be permitted to fill his office by a substitute during the
coming session.
As the class will probably be a small one, his duties
could easily be filled by substitution, and as your Demons-
trator is an Ass[istan]t Surgeon in the provisional Army and
may be ordered from Richmond, he hopes it may be
agreeable to the Faculty to grant his request
Should the Faculty deem a substitute inexpedient,
he asks to be permitted to change his hours for demon-
strating, from 5 to 7 o'clock p.m.
