Your Board of Trustees of the Medical Col-lege
of Virginia Alumni Association voted:
May 30, 1955 (Annual Meeting)
to affirm its intention of remaining an or-ganization,
separate and distinct from any
other, working in cooperation with the College
and supporting it in any feasible manner,' but
its actions are to be at the direction of this
body and the Board of Trustees only, and it
further resolved that this shall be the contin-uing
policy of this Association until it is re-versed
or modified at a subsequent annual
meeting.
June 6, 1975 (Board Meeting)
to remain an independent corporation.
April 25, 1976 (Board Meeting)
to continue as an independent corporation
June 3, 1977 (Board Meeting) and June 4,
1977 (Annual Meeting)
its reaffirmation of its intention to remain
an independent, unified Alumni Association.

to remain independent and explore all pos-sible
avenues for cooperation with the Col-lege.
April 16, 1978 (Board Meeting)
its support of the MCV Alumni Association
as an independent corporation.
September 10, 1978
to oppose any effort to divide the MCV
Alumni Association into associations for the
six individual schools and to stay independent.
